The farm's first coffee trees were planted by Peris Wambui Karugondo's grandparents, helping establish a legacy that continues today. After spending 22 years working as a nurse in the United Kingdom, Peris returned home to care for her mother and eventually inherited the parcel now known as Muhathi. She runs the farm alongside her son, Sam, combining decades of family knowledge with a commitment to preserving the land for future generations.
