Liliana Burbano was one of the first producers in San Agustín to work with Osito Coffee—one of our trusted import partners—drawn by fixed, quality-based pricing and commitment to continuous improvement. Liliana and her husband Robinson produce 100% of their coffee for Osito, and Slide is one of only four roasters globally to have purchased her lots. They do nearly all the work themselves, hiring up to four locals only during peak harvest. Coffee is their sole livelihood, and with rising prices, they’re now building a new home and drying patio on their family’s land. For three years, we’ve proudly sourced Liliana’s coffee, and this season’s harvest is the most refined yet—featuring complex, vibrant acidity and silky sweetness.
