ECUADOR - MITAD DEL MUNDO (HONEY)

Grown across the southern reaches of Ecuador, this Mitad del Mundo lot brings together smallholder producers from the mountains of Loja, a region known for its high elevation and wild, diverse landscape. The name means “middle of the world,” a nod to Ecuador’s place on the equator, but this particular lot leans south, where cooler conditions and rich Andean soils shape a more expressive cup. Produced by a network of farmers balancing coffee with day to day farm life, this honey processed selection adds a little extra sweetness and texture. It’s vibrant, rounded, and just a bit playful, showing a different side of Ecuador that we’re very into right now.
