EL SALVADOR - FAMILIA DIAZ

Once woodworkers & vegetable cultivators, the Diaz family are now exceptional coffee growers. Jose Efrain Diaz & his sons started their farm with just 0.5 hectares & now currently own 33.5 hectares of farm land. Each family member owns their own section of the farm & have found a good balance in working together to produce excellent coffee. Access to the farm is very mountainous & difficult, so once harvested & processed, the family & workers work together carrying the coffee out of the farm on their shoulders & by horse to the nearest road where it can be picked up by truck. The Diaz family are known for being a united family & a true example of stewardship and humility.
