KENYA - ORETI ESTATE (WASHED)

Oreti Estate is a small scale farm of just 90 acres and is situated in the Thika region in Kenya. It is a multigenerational farm which was started by South African man, Allen Harries and his sons. The estate has a permanent labour force of 40 people, who all live on the estate with their families, some of which are third generation employees. These labourers carefully pick only the ripened coffee cherries by hand. It is then processed on the estate using a washed process which gives a clean mouthfeel and juicy, berry jam like flavour.
