UGANDA - ZUKUKA BORA (NATURAL)

Zukuka Bora’s story began in 2014, when local community organisation JENGA partnered with Australia’s Commonfolk Coffee to support Ugandan coffee producers and create a reliable path to market. Today, Zukuka Bora operates a network of buying and washing stations across Mt Elgon, processing and exporting coffee from the communities they work with. This lot brings us to Sipi Falls, where hundreds of smallholder farmers grow coffee among one of Uganda’s most spectacular landscapes. Site manager Ken has been instrumental in bringing the community together around the Sipi washing station, building trust and a shared focus on quality. It’s an exciting partnership in a community with deep roots in coffee.
