Robert Pillimue is a member of Mártir Coffee, an association that produces community lots in La Plata, Huila. However, he is the only member who is not actually based in La Plata—or even in Huila, for that matter. Robert’s coffee is grown at his farm, La Reforma, in Páez, just across the border from La Plata in the department of Cauca. Along with his family, he produces a wide range of coffee varieties. Some, such as his Gesha and this exceptional Pink Bourbon, are designated as special microlots and exported separately from the Mártir Coffee lots. This coffee provides a bright and fruity cup and is perfect for filter brewing.
