BURUNDI - GITWE (WASHED)

 

Long Miles Coffee Project started in Burundi in 2011 with the vision to develop and improve the struggling coffee industry. This project actively works alongside farmers to encourage consistency, quality and traceability throughout the process, focusing on education, sustainable practices and equitable pay. This coffee was handpicked in the Gitwe region and processed at nearby Heza Washing Station where it was washed using natural spring water and carefully dried on raised beds until preferred moisture content was reached.
