Introducing the Essentials Range: stay in the safety of yummy, full-bodied, sweet, delicious flat whites and long blacks, without sacrificing the exploration of different origins. Most of our Essentials Range consists of coffees we already use in our espresso blends, so they're likely to stick around much longer than our ever-evolving single origins range. Yes, they are single origins, but they are essential coffees—essential to us for our blend components, and essential to coffee farmers, as the majority of coffee purchased is for the purpose of milk-based espresso blends.

Divino Niño del Horizonte is a coffee farming collective from Suaza in the south-western department of Huila. Over the past 3 years, the group has grown from 25 producers to over 50 and through our sourcing partners, we are able to provide these farmers with a flat rate price for their beans which sits above the fluctuating market value to ensure a sustainable relationship. Huila is the largest coffee producing region in Colombia, designating around 155,000 hectares of the mountainous area to growing coffee trees. These predominantly washed coffees often provide a bright acidity, medium body and a fruity, caramel aroma.

We've decided to evolve the way we send out coffee. Rather than limiting you to what we have already roasted in stock, we're allowing you to preorder whatever coffee you like in whatever size bag and we'll roast it just for you and send it fresh. So here's how to get the best of our 'SEND IT FRESH' program. 

PREORDER SINGLE ORIGINS by MONDAY EVENING* - Anytime.

WE ROAST: Tuesday/Wednesday.

WE SEND IT: TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY (as soon as it's roasted)

*If you order Tuesday - Thursday: We'll send it if it's fresh and in stock. (On season Blend & Roaster Choice usually always available, please enter your mobile in checkout so we can get quicker responses from you if needed.)

*FRIDAY/MONDAY: We don't dispatch these days unless specially requested. We think it's better for you to have reasonably fresh coffee when it arrives, these days are too far from our roast days, and couriers move slower. So If you order Friday - Monday: Your order will be put on the list for roasting on Tuesday/Wednesday.

Planadas municipality is located in Tolima, Colombia. Its weather conditions make it an ideal area to grow high-quality coffee. 95% of coffees are grown in low temperatures which produces a higher sugar concentration during the ripening process, resulting in a sweeter and more complex cup profile. ASOPEP is an association that has supported and assisted 167 coffee farmers' to work towards quality coffee that is certified organic, incentivising them to use organic practices. As a result and thanks to the ASOPEP's support, these producers have managed to certify their raw coffee beans as organic.
