ATU LINTANG - INDONESIA (WASHED)


Reigning from Central Aceh, Indonesia, Gayo’s Best is a small business that operates with the vision of bettering the economic development of the region through the  creation and promotion of high quality, locally produced coffee. Through their work, local farmers are equipped with the right skills and resources to produce coffee of a high standard. Coffee produced in this region usually undergoes a washed process as there is an abundant water source. During this process cherries are placed in tanks to remove floaters before being pulped. Once pulped they are fermented until ideal PH levels are reached followed by a drying phase of up to three weeks ensuring all parchment is completely dry before hulling. You can expect a sweet cup with notes of caramel, hazelnut and orange.
