This is our third year sourcing coffee from Jamir Muñoz — an energetic and committed producer from San Agustín, Huila, who shares both family and processing space with fellow producer (and sister-in-law) Liliana Burbano. Through his partnership with Osito Coffee, Jamir receives fair, stable prices for the micro lots he produces, enabling him to invest in new farms, improved processing, and more resilient coffee varieties.
“I’m glad to work with José and Osito; it’s a good collaboration and we are learning. They should know that I work hard and am motivated to continue. My dream is to produce quality coffees and to teach my children.” - Jamir when asked what he'd like to say to you/buyer.

In the hills of San Agustín, Colombia, Jamir Muñoz produces microlots of Pink Bourbon, Caturra, and Catuaí. Since buying his first farm in 2015, he has expanded to three properties, processing all coffee at the family’s beneficio alongside relatives, including fellow producer Liliana Burbano. Working closely with Osito Coffee, who purchase 100% of his output, Jamir invests in resilient varieties and infrastructure to adapt to shifting rainfall patterns. Cherries are handpicked, depulped, fermented, washed, and dried on-site. The result is a vibrant, clean coffee with balanced sweetness and clarity, reflecting both Jamir’s skill and the unique character of San Agustín.
